密歇根大學(xué)宣布，從2022-2023申請(qǐng)季開始，該校所有博士專業(yè)申請(qǐng)過程中，無需再提交GRE成績(jī)。
目前，該校安娜堡Ann Anbor和Dearborn兩個(gè)校區(qū)一共有一百多個(gè)博士專業(yè)由Rackham研究生院管理，全部免去GRE要求。
GRE全稱為Graduate Record Exam，是美國(guó)研究生入學(xué)考試；長(zhǎng)期以來，GRE成績(jī)?cè)趲缀跛忻绹?guó)大學(xué)研究生錄取中作為一個(gè)重要考量因素。
近些年來，隨著美國(guó)社會(huì)對(duì)大學(xué)公平性的呼聲不斷增大，再加上這兩年疫情的影響，要求取消GRE、SAT等考試成績(jī)作為入學(xué)申請(qǐng)條件的訴求不斷高漲。
去年十月份，加州大學(xué)伯克利分校已經(jīng)官宣：大部分研究生項(xiàng)目將繼續(xù)暫停一年GRE要求！意味著UC Berkeley超過125個(gè)研究生項(xiàng)目不用提交GRE成績(jī)！
UC Berkeley其他不需要GRE的研究生項(xiàng)目還有：環(huán)境科學(xué)、政策與管理系（Environmental Science, Policy, and Management）；生物物理學(xué)（Biophysics）；植物微生物（Plant & Micro Biology）等等。
