Common App 2021-2022申請(qǐng)正式開(kāi)放，新申請(qǐng)季變化須知！

　　每年的8月1號(hào)，對(duì)于美本申請(qǐng)的同學(xué)們意義重大的日子：轟轟烈烈的申請(qǐng)季戰(zhàn)役將打響。昨日，2021-2022的Common App入口，迎來(lái)了正式開(kāi)放。

　　Common App是美國(guó)本科申請(qǐng)三大網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)之一，也是目前美國(guó)大學(xué)申請(qǐng)使用人數(shù)最多的系統(tǒng)之一，每年超過(guò)100萬(wàn)學(xué)生通過(guò)該系統(tǒng)在線申請(qǐng)大學(xué)。

　　CA通用申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)的最大特點(diǎn)是，申請(qǐng)人只需填寫(xiě)一份申請(qǐng)表，包括標(biāo)化成績(jī)、文書(shū)、背景活動(dòng)以及推薦信等，就可以用它來(lái)申請(qǐng)多所大學(xué)，可以有效節(jié)省申請(qǐng)大學(xué)的時(shí)間。

　　新申請(qǐng)季Common App 五大新變化

　　1.現(xiàn)已新增64所高校接受該應(yīng)用程序；

　　2.修改性別選項(xiàng)以更好地代表申請(qǐng)人；

　　3.更改公民身份問(wèn)題以減少訪問(wèn)障礙；

　　4.新增個(gè)人陳述提示;

　　5.COVID-19相關(guān)選填題部分持續(xù)保留

　　64所學(xué)校新加入系統(tǒng)

　　今年，共有64所高校新加入Common  App系統(tǒng)。

　　所有伊利諾伊州公立大學(xué)都將使用 Common App，伊利諾伊州成為美國(guó)第一個(gè)要求其公立四年制大學(xué)使用 Common App 的州。

　　伊利諾伊州立大學(xué)招生主任 Jeff Mavros 說(shuō)道：“允許學(xué)生使用 Common App 進(jìn)行申請(qǐng)將使伊利諾伊州、中西部和全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)的學(xué)生更容易接觸到大學(xué)。”

　　其他Common App 新成員學(xué)校包括：

　　詹姆斯麥迪遜大學(xué)，弗吉尼亞州雪蘭多谷的一所公立大學(xué)；

　　普瑞特藝術(shù)學(xué)院，位于布魯克林區(qū)；

　　波特蘭州立大學(xué)，位于俄勒岡州的4年制公立學(xué)校；

　　阿拉巴馬大學(xué)，阿拉巴馬州歷史最悠久、規(guī)模最大的公立大學(xué)……

　　此前，Common App官方宣布2021-2022申請(qǐng)季部分板塊會(huì)做出調(diào)整。比如：

　　1、主文書(shū)第4題有改動(dòng)，變成“Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?”

　　其他6道題目沒(méi)有變化，并且“額外信息”部分仍然保留COVID-19的備選問(wèn)題“分享疫情對(duì)你個(gè)人和學(xué)術(shù)的影響”。

　�、佟�Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

　�、�、The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?

　�、�、Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?

　　⑤、Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.

　　⑥、Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?

　�、�、Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you‘ve already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design.

　　2、另外，為了適應(yīng)越來(lái)越多樣化的學(xué)生，減少偏見(jiàn)或歧視，Common App決定修改部分個(gè)人信息問(wèn)題。

　　比如：公民身份的選項(xiàng)中，“Other (non-US)” 替換成 International students 和 Undocumented/DACA students 兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)。

　　刪除父母和兄弟姐妹相關(guān)問(wèn)題，父母的職業(yè)、學(xué)歷、就業(yè)情況相關(guān)問(wèn)題設(shè)置為Optional。

　　性別描述部分，用詞從 “sex” 改成 “l(fā)egal sex”。

Common App填寫(xiě)指南

以學(xué)生身份注冊(cè)

填寫(xiě)信息

　　注冊(cè)賬戶(hù)填寫(xiě)基本的信息，如姓名、出生日期、地址、電話、郵箱等等。

　　郵箱就是用戶(hù)名，Common App也會(huì)不定期的給你發(fā)一些提醒和更新。

　　在系統(tǒng)中，你會(huì)看到所有的信息集中在一起，一次性就能填寫(xiě)完成。

　　首先就是注冊(cè)郵箱、密碼，需要注意的是：

　　1. 不使用奇怪的郵箱名稱(chēng)/地址，美高學(xué)生建議Gmail，國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)生建議163郵箱

　　2. CA對(duì)密碼有比較嚴(yán)格的要求，密碼不符合要求無(wú)法進(jìn)行到下一步，詳細(xì)要求如下：

　　10-32位長(zhǎng)度

　　至少一個(gè)大寫(xiě)字母

　　至少一個(gè)小寫(xiě)字母

　　至少一個(gè)數(shù)字

　　至少一個(gè)特殊符號(hào)! @ # $ % ^ & *

　　無(wú)空格鍵

　　隨后我們填寫(xiě)姓名、性別、住址、生日、入學(xué)信息等，完成注冊(cè)。

　　添加大學(xué)名單

　　通過(guò)名字搜索大學(xué)，點(diǎn)擊左邊【+】號(hào)就能添加大學(xué)。

　　讓我們?nèi)涡缘靥钜粋�(gè)哈佛大學(xué)試下。

　　選擇完一所學(xué)校之后，可以繼續(xù)添加其他學(xué)校，或者點(diǎn)擊學(xué)校名稱(chēng)/點(diǎn)擊右側(cè)的按鈕/在My Colleges中查看已添加的學(xué)校信息。

　　新版的Common系統(tǒng)中，學(xué)校搜索更加方便，學(xué)校信息介紹也會(huì)更加全面，讓申請(qǐng)方便了不少。
